Training Coordinator

In the past year, Legiant, an Austin based company and leader in web-based time and attendance systems, has introduced the most innovative web-based product on the market. Part of what makes Legiant a leader in the Time and Attendance industry is their emphasis on customer service and their world class training programs. Legiant is looking for high energy, hardworking, outstanding individual to continue to educate and train their current and future clients on their software.


The ideal candidate will be a professional who prides themselves on their customer relationship skills. The Training Specialist position exists to assist in developing, implementing, and conducting training programs. The routine and regular assignments of this position will be conducted with a balance of autonomy, accountability and supervision.

 


QUALIFICATIONS and SKILLS

Bachelor's degree preferred
Strong work ethic and time management skills
Effective verbal and written communication skills
Outstanding listening, interpersonal and presentation skills
Customer relationship (rapport) building
High energy, enthusiastic quick learner
Self-motivated, self-disciplined with positive, professional attitude
Able to work independently and make decisions in a team-focused environment
Ability to multi task and prioritize effectively
Highly proficient with Windows operating system and working knowledge of Microsoft Office products including Word, Excel, and Outlook, Publisher a plus

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Conducts and coordinates training activities
  • Plans, organizes, and coordinates the execution of training programs
  • Researches, writes, and creates new training materials
  • Develops, analyzes and evaluates training requirements
  • Develops training plans
  • Evaluates and updates training programs to keep current with updates in software
  • Demonstrates continuous effort to improve operations, decrease turnaround times streamline work processes, and work cooperatively and jointly to provide quality seamless customer service
  • Instruct others in a classroom setting
  • Remain in a standing position for extended periods of time when instructing classes
  • Use graphic instruction such as drawings, layouts, or other visual aids
  • Some travel may be required
  • Assists help desk in fielding cases
